Learn with Dad (Baba Learning) requires no account and includes no advertising, analytics, or user tracking services.
Data stored on the device
The child nickname, learning level, lesson progress, unfinished lesson, and sound settings stay in app storage on the user's device. This information is not transmitted to the developer or any third party.
Permissions and children's information
The app does not request access to the camera, photos, microphone, contacts, or location. It does not ask for or collect a child's birth date, real name, or contact details. Parent-check answers are evaluated only on the device.
Advertising, analytics, and tracking
The app contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking technology. It does not sell or share personal data.
Speech assets
Fixed narration was generated in advance with Microsoft Azure AI Speech, using Yunyang for Mandarin and Andrew for English. The resulting audio files are bundled with the app for offline playback. Lesson text and voices are not sent to Azure while the app is used.
Retention, deletion, and privacy choices
Clearing progress resets the current child's learning record and level but keeps the nickname. Deleting a child removes that profile; other children and sound settings are unchanged. Records remain on the device until the corresponding deletion action is taken.
Parents can manage the current profile in the parent area. When recovering a damaged save, the app keeps a separate local recovery copy. Clearing progress or deleting a child does not remove that copy. To remove all local app data, choose Delete App in iOS. Copies in device backups are controlled by the user's Apple backup settings. The app has no cloud account.
App Store purchase
Full access uses a one-time, non-consumable Apple App Store purchase. The app reads only the localized price and unlock status from StoreKit; it does not store payment-card, Apple Account, or transaction details. Apple processes payment, receipts, and purchase history under its policies.
Support email
Support messages are read and answered by the developer using the existing email service, only to answer questions, investigate problems and follow up. No additional ticketing, marketing, analytics or automated reply service is used. Email messages pass through the email provider; they are not stored only on your device.
When a parent chooses to email support, the developer receives the sender's email address and message only to reply and investigate the issue. Do not send a child's sensitive information. A parent may request deletion of the correspondence through the same address.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the updated date and app version will be revised. For privacy questions, contact johnnyiiiii@163.com.
